Michele Kulp
Studio Michele Kulp creates jewelry that is both art and symbolic journey, incorporating and combining the textures and colors of silver, brass, copper, niobium, and gold. Originally designed and entirely hand-crafted, each piece flows from exploration to discovery, revealing the artist's spiritual journey through graceful, fluid combinations of color, texture, space and form. As such, her work is a highly personal, heartfelt experience that captivates the spirit of each of us, welcoming us to our own awakening. Wearing this jewelry, we feel touched by a caring heart. Michele Kulp has been designing, producing and exhibiting metalwork for over a decade. Born and raised in West Islip, New York, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at Buffalo State College, majoring in design and jewelry. Shelly went on to Northern Illinois University as a scholarship student, acquiring her Masters of Fine Arts Degree in 1994, concentrating on metalwork and jewelry. Her work has been featured at many shows and exhibits, winning her much acclaim as well as numerous awards for her intriguing and unique designs. Shelly is currently a full-time studio artist and resides in Tucson, Arizona. |
